    "Pirates of the River Rother"

To you to me to you to me ha ha ha ha ha ha

Me my missus and kids laughed all the way through, its the best £14 I've spent in a long time.

Now onto the pantomine that continues to unfold at Oakwell.

Got a match report from my mate who was at the game today and the chuckle brothers were a perfect description of the defensive mix up that gave away our goal.

Unfortunately as we all know with BFC, we go a goal down and thats it the ref can blow the final whistle and take the players off the pitch because whatever minute the goal goes in, you know we have lost the game. In every game this season apart from one I think when we have conceeded a goal we have failed to even take a point.

Today we had good possession in our own half, Ipswich sat back and let us play up to the final third but like ground hog day week in week out we have zero threat or penetration in the final third, apart from a couple of shots from Noodle in the second half their goalie was sat on a deck chair with his back to the game doing the sudoko with a cup of tea in his hand. Zero threat and zero creativity yet again.

My faith in Hill and the team after the Peterbro' performance last week had shot up but was that just a flash in the pan ???? is normal service of being w*nk week in week out now resumed ?????

What are the stats now 15 defeats in 21 games ???? those stats are an absolute disgrace to the red shirt.

This week again we are linked with lower league players (Billy Jones) and meanwhile Brian Howard has his begging bowl out wanting to come back to the club, GO AND GET HIM IN KEITH. Jacob Mellis, Hill not keen because he thinks he is trouble yet Hill is willing to buy dog sh*te like Dagnall and linked with Bill Jones Lower League best pal, played under Hill we share the same agent probably instead ?????

Coventry and Forest both won today with Bristol getting a point, the gap is down to 9 points and our run in looks about as healthy as Bin Laden.

Please god we scrape 3 points from somewhere this season to achieve our championship status and next season Hill MUST add some championship quality / championship experienced players. No more lower league signings as I think the jury has been and gone on this one, the performances and stats proove the point, only one in 3 of them pay off and the rest are just a drain on wages and a waste of time.

Butterfield has already gone, which only leaves Steele and Davies now as our only saleable assetts and Disco Don will definately accept cash for any bids that come in for those 2. Take those 3 players out of the team and we have not got a snowballs chance in hell of staying up unless Hill adds some proven championship quality. We will be down with the Christmas trimmings.

How many more games can Hill spin the same excuse and same yarn to the paying fans.

    The stats do not lie.

West Ham is do or die for us now - we are in the brown stuff big style and falling down the league like a knackered lift.

To suggest that the West Ham game is "do or die" is quite frankly so pathetically infantile and short termism and what's wrong with everything in life in general, that I shall retire with a beer and softly burp instead

Impressive assessment of the game seen as you've not been. Neither have I, but I'm not passing comment on the performance or how the goal was conceded.

Billy Jones - not heard that one, but are you talking about the ex Crewe and Preston player, now of Premier League West Brom, who has played all but one year of his career at Championship level?

There are six games left. We probably have enough points already, but 3 more will certainly be enough, and there are six left to get them from.

Yes, next season is gonna be tough, but you're not half trying to build a drama that isn't there.

3 points at home to West Ham is a big must now - TO YOU - TO ME - TO YOU - TO ME !!!

3 points against anybody will see us safe, 3 draws would be ok, but however it comes we need 3 points to survive, until that happens and teams below carrying on getting points my nerves are getting worse by the game !!!!!!.

2 weeks ago the only points I could see us taking in our current form was 3 points at home to Peterbro and thank god we got that.

Thing is though Cov and Forest have hit some very good form and we are being dragged deeper and deeper as the games go by.

Bristol away is so important to our season.

West Ham at home and Blackpool away, it'll be good if we get a shot off on target never mind score.

Hopefully Hill will find again that Dunkirk spirit the team showed against Peterbro.

Season ticket holder who goes home and away - I trust his match reports mate

He has been watching reds home and away for 30 years and gave an honest view of the game and I'm afraid it is groundhog day again as the reds performances go. Defensive mistakes (he said Foster and McNulty) cost us the game and zero penetration, threat or creativity in the final third. Ipswich let us play till we crossed into their 2nd half then thats where it all goes wrong, they press and we lose the ball.

Nobody on the pitch with a pair of balls to pick the team up and get them going, also Hill stood motionless playing sleeping lions in the dug out all the game !!!

not making a drama just saying how it is, we need 3 points to stay up.

    15 defeats in 21 games

falling down the league faster than a knackered lift

about as dangerous in the final third as the teletubbies with a beach ball

but.........I take heart from the Peterbro performance and have a gut feeling we can upset West ham and secure our championship status - sh*t or bust for the reds now mate as teams below are catching fast.

£14 quid a ticket even for kids no concessions at least 400 hundred in there and must sold loads on the chuckle brother merchandise, t shirts, cd's, dvd's, flashing pirate swords etc etc etc

Hate to say it but they were class !!! especially when a piece of the set fell on him out of the blue !!!

Davies / Steele and Butterfield are our only sellable assetts Whitey - Disco Don

will accept any bids that come in for these players because thats what we always do.

Davies is the best of all Hills lower league players he has brought in. Some of the others are not good enough for championship level and the stats proove it.

Butterfield will never play for this club again he's gone in the Summer.

Foster has been a fantastic servant but is struggling with his form of late and with McNulty at the side of him we look very weak at the back.

Gray tries hard but the hot dog seller or the half time draw man would get more goals than him - his legs have gone and we should pay him up in the Summer and let him go.

Frank Noodle wouldn't get in Wombwell Mains team - he was dog sh*te the first time he came and so what does Hill do, listen to Stevie Wonder our chief scout and sign him up again and yes Noodle has been totally consistent like he was before - utter tripe, a waste of money and wages.

Smith - jury is still out...for me he's had one decent game

Cotterill when he gets fit could be a good player for us so time will tell

15 defeats in 21 games gives me the right to moan - its not good enough

The wasted money on transfer fees and wages Hill has spent on some of his lower league players he has brought in should have been used on older heads who have played at this level.

We need three points to stay up and the Peterbro performance apart which was a flash in the pan where are these points going to come from on this form ???

I'm worried we are in real danger of being relegated

You make me laugh every week. Perhaps you should not have been so anti Robins?

I'm wasting my virtual breath but what part of running stand alone can't you understand? It is no good saying sign "old heads" when said "old heads" will want three times more than our max wage of around £5k a week.

    What an arrogant attitude.

I think Barney the purple dinosaur is on at The Civic next week, why don't you go there and stay the fu.ck away from Oakwell

Redstar - one example - Wasted wages and transfer fees on Dagnall and Nouble = HOWARD

You add up the number of players Hill has wasted wages and fees on and that would pay for some proper championship quality.

ie: Nouble and Dagnall wages and £50k fee was it for Dagnall ??? that combined would have payed for somebody like Howard.

How is stating 15 defeats in 21 games is arrogant ?? not arrogant its a disgrace

I'm not one of the other 2500 fans who have voted with their feet this season, I watch them home and away and pay my money so yes you have an opinion and so do I...........

My opinion is that our for over the last 20 odd games the vast majority of our form has been a disgrace and unacceptable and Hill has got things tactically wrong too many times and wasted plenty of coin on some of his transfer dealings.

I wish I could say the team have been losing but going down fighting. I'd see them lose home and away every week as long as they gave their all for 90 minutes but sadly that isn't the case.

You may think otherwise.....as long as you pay your money through the turnstile you have a right to say what you like on the team as I do..........

For how long? 12 months? At best? Then what? Look beyond the manager.

12 months with Howard is better than 2 years of Dagnall + Nouble on loan

I fully take your point though but at least if we only get 12 months out of Howard its another 12 months in the championship. I'd take that every day of the week.

Freddie Eastwood has just gone to Southend - he'd have been ideal for us another player who has experience at our level, if Hill is going to shop in the bargain bucket then at least mix it up a bit.

We will have a far greater chance of staying up next season in the championship with players like Howard who may be in the twighlight of their careers but they have been there and bought the t shirt and still have quality.

What I would like to see is a blend of these type of players supplemented with Hills lower league 'stars' otherwise if Hill continues to let our best players go and replaces them with nothing else but lower league that I'm afraid that is where the club is destined to go.

Hill sold Vaz Te did he? Aye alreet.

If we signed Howard on a 12 month deal then sold him for sfa again tha'd bairn again!!

I'm sure Hill would like a few more in that have done it at this level but finances dictate otherwise.

We'll agree to disagree then mate - Howard or Dagnall - its a no brainer !!

Disco Don sold Vaz Te and I'm not dumb I know Hills is just a puppet on his strings, so as much as Hill gets the flack then Disco Don should also...
