Even though I have chosen to ignore him he's still there like a rancid fart.

 

It's not funny any more.
It's not challenging any more.
Loads of the genuine characters have gone.
There's no proper banter.
The debate is repetitive and pathetic.
There are very few intelligent insights into any topic whatsoever.
There are no good wind ups.
There's a lack of variety in the posters.
There are few rivals coming across to exchange views.

Nowadays I only come on by habit and to torture myself by reading the childish, deluded, contradictory and hypocritical f**king gash hemsworth tyke has come out with this time.

 

Bring back AIRtyke and IOWT. Proper funny blokes.

think theres also a certain clique on this board, if your in it you have people using your quotes as signatures, if your not its pointless posting

Intolerance to opinions that are against the currently received 'wisdom' and the abuse that occasionally goes with it.

 

Personally, I believe the board has lost its humour. I've been using the BBS since around '98/99. Their used to be genuine characters posting.
Maybe I have changed too but I find it boring these days.
Don't think anything needs to be changed, it's the same format but you can't just replace the characters.
I would say though, that the old chatroom used to add some familiarity with members which obviously resulted in better banter and humour.
Nothing lasts forever though.

There's no new players to slag-off, so most folk on here will have nothing to say.

 

We're not creative enough and we're not positive enough.

 

Boring time of the season too, we kinda know where we'll finish and few of the games generate enough excitement to post about.

 

Just think if it wasn't for thatchatroom you would still loitering behind a screen in your burb cap watching red tube and reporting on the training.

The first proper BBS marraige.

 

It misses the Hartog Set, Roundsman, the one who cannot be mentioned (before they went mental anyway), number 1 keeper, adam hinchcliffe. Oh and John Fahey posting pictures of himself in a dress. I do wonder what happened to Dirk Hartog.

Because the old characters (love them or hate them (Except Jay)) have vanished, they are who made it what it was back in the day.

The easily offended and simple minded members have taken the fun out of it.

I bet I used to post 100 times a week, lucky to do 2 posts now.

I've never read a Hemsworth Tyke post/thread either (wel after a month of his drivvle). It seemed to turn into a game him getting under people's skins and added nowt to the BBS.
