Since we got promoted to this division in 2005-6 the bottom 2 after 41 games have always gone down. In 2006-7 Leeds were 21st and only 1 point above the bottom 3 Relegated In 2007-8 Leicester were 19th and only 1 point above the bottom 3 Relegated In 2008-9 Norwich were 21st and only 1 point above the bottom 3 Relegated In 2009-10 Wednesday were 20th and only 2 points above the bottom 3 Relegated In 2010-11 the bottom 3 after 41 games were relegated
Thing is....we have gone from top 10 maybe top 6 to the worst team in the division ..............inside one season I cannot see us picking up another point...........just hoping what we have got will be enough But after the Bristol result yesterday it might not be

I could buy the no-money argument if it wasn't for the sheer number of players brought in. What exactly are we doing signing players who are then sent out to Bradford City on loan (I see he only made the bench yesterday)?!. And bringing back players who were nowhere near good enough the last time they were here?. I'm sure the happy clappers will say it's all we can afford but surely a bit of quality would have been better than sheer quantity? And exactly what is the story with Tonge - the one signing that seemed to be an attempt to bring proven quality in? 'Bairning' or not there are going to some very angry and disenchanted people should we lose our Championship status in such a ridiculous way.
You say the bottom 2 have gone down. What about the third relegation spot? If Bristol City beat Coventry AND us we are in the mire. Struggling to see where we will get a win from.

I think we are as good as Bristol City A brave defensive display yesterday but not a quality football performance.
Re: I think we are as good as Bristol City look at those names... Leeds, Leicester, Norwich and Wednesday... all of them relegated while we stayed afloat. amazing really when you consider the teams and budgets they had.
