Scott wiseman .... See that 90 square metres of space in front of you.... It means you have time to run into it AND strike the ball..... But if you prefer, run into it, then stop, then pass sideways to someone three yards away. Cotterill ... If you're not prepared to move more than two yards to get the ball, then just don't bother coming on. Keith..... Just pick a team and stick to it.... At least for two games. The number of players we have played in midfield this season ..... It's incredible. Drinkwater, Butterfield, Perkins, Vaz Te, nouble, o Brien, rnl, mc nulty, mc everley, Collins, Davies, Dawson, Done, Doyle, smith, Hassell, Clark, Digby tonge .... That's 18 players off the top of my head, and every possible combination of them. No stability, too much chopping and changing. Home performances this season have frankly been depressing. If we stay up this year, I fear big time for next year. Beginning to doubt the wisdom of my early renewal.
Add Cameron Park to the midfield list Hill can't moan it's his team of players now. That said he still doesn't have a clue what his best team is. When did we last have a settled team? Be good if we played the same lineup for more than two games in a row so players could get used to eachother.
Amount of players used in midfield is irrelevant as they have mainly been forced. Not justifying not playing the same midfield two games in a row (although we would have done today had Edwards been fit), but can't criticise numbers used. Players sold/injured: Drinkwater, Butterfield, Tonge, Perkins, Vaz Te, O'Brien, Done, Doyle, Youngsters: Clark, Digby, RNL (also injured) New signings to replace departing players: Dawson, Smith
No, I meant players signed to replaced the players that had left. Meaning if you sell four midfielders, you probably need to sign four midfielders to replace them
