Said it before. Short term management at its very worse.

Re: I heard it was £400m

Fair point but it falls flat on its face since we have struggled to score at all since he left.

1 in the hand is worth 2 in the bush and all we probably got was 1 in the bush.

In fact rather than any bush action we got several up the arris.

buggered in the transfer market again, whether 0.5m or 1m.

    What price relegation?

Re: I heard it was £400m

Was he sold after Drinkwater and butterfield were ruled unavailable or before? Can't remember if it was before or not bit if it was before then to me that is more unfortunate than if it was after, still an unhappy player could easily end up being more problems than anything and considering it wasn't long since vaz te was available for nothing there's a high chance he could have turned back to the form that made him worth that much.

All this talk of how he might have performed if forced to stay is irrelevant IMHO

I strongly believe that had he been offered an improved deal at the start of December, possibly for 18 months and with say a £1.5-£2m buyout clause, he'd have been happy as Larry. He'd surely done enough by then to earn it.

But no, BFC didn't want to take that punt, they waited until it was clear that others were in for him and claimed that we just couldn't hold on to him against such mighty opposition. Well perhaps by then Ricardo had figured out that we just didn't have the bottle to put our money where our mouth was, and that he wouldn't be short of better offers.

We're all entitled to our 2p's worth and that's mine. I also happen to reckon that Butterfield would have been much more inclined to put pen to paper on a contract last summer than at Xmas, and he'd already earned it too.

I don't think the club (board, manager, fans) thoughts at the time we would have this shocking run of form. I also don't think Keith spent the money we got for the transfer as he wanted to bank it for the summer as he was so confident we wouldn't hit this not so purple patch.

You'll struggle to keep a player happy and performing when denying him a pay rise from £800 a week to well over £10k a week.

Our board are so far out of their depth it is sending me to an early grave.

Knowledge of the game, appointment of manager, understanding the fans. 0/10

Well I heard it was 2 bags of Seabrook crisps (of sams choice) a can of coke and Albert Hirst black pudding so put that in with all.

250k, 500k, 750k or whatever, Rowing has no idea.
