yeah i agree in most part. but lets not also forget that he's had to build two teams this season, the second team he had to build without the neccessary resources. to hear some people on here demanding results and performances with the resources at our disposal is almost laughable if it wasn't serious. but we'll be down to the true fans next season wherever that takes us when all the moaners have fecked off.
Dont bank on it Marlon this customer will be there and I lurve a good old moan. Dont think I`ll be alone.
That's what happens when you sign **** loads of loan players and give out piddly 1 and 2 year contracts
So, after missing only 1 season (minors strike cos my dad couldnt afford to take me) in the last 30 year's, (last 16 being a season ticket holder) I am almost resigned to nit going, I've lost faith in the whole club and setup, I'm now classed as not being a true fan. Excellent
yeah tbh me too lol. i'm just a bit fed up of one or two threatening not to renew cos of performances.if moneys tightor if you'd rather do summat else fair enough just go and do it as far as i'm concerned
How can you say he's a ***** manager when in November Barnsley were closer to play offs than relegation playing good football. Very short memories and everything isn't black and white, confidence is a big thing in football, its ok sitting in your chair thinking you know everything about all the players etc when you don't see them train daily etc. It's not football manager its real life. Easily deserves another pre season and at least 15 games to see what he can produce. To ne fair there is no alternative anyway.
I'm very disillusioned at the moment, Baz I see absolutely no positives with regards to the club. Usually, I'm an out and out optimist,. but I find it impossible to be so.
Re: I'm very disillusioned at the moment, Baz yeah i can sympathise that things are a bit bleak and we all have our opinions but iknow that your not about to abandon them cos you like me have seen us in a far worse place than this. some don't need much of an excuse but the irony is that i saw same thing with davy and people i knew stopped goingas a protest but were there at liverpool when friends of mine who never miss a game weren't
Oh, I'll still be getting a season ticket mate Crystal insists on getting me out of the house! I'll probably be back to being an optimist in a couple of months time. I've lost count of the number of times I've said to the Boss "Never again, that's me done with 'em!". It simply shows what a daft, old bugger I am!
The money is their. Already saved up. The extra pressure I have is my 5 year old wanting to go with me (yes its free). Do I really want to subject him to almost certain relegation in his first ever season, and scar him for life? We also vet married next year (finally) and that 300 could pay for the cake, at least it will probably be more memorable than what I'm expecting to be served next season. I also stated last week, as I was so torn, is leave it to Andy gray. If he gets a new contract, then that's it... And look what's happened. I really want to renew, I just cant bring myself to look at Amy positive and just feel like ***** every Saturday hurting at what I've just witnessed. I don't think I could go through another second half season capitulation again.
Real Life? No it ******* isn't you silly sod. Going down the pit is real life. Working in a factory is real life. Illness and injury is real life. Bringing up your kids is real life. Professional football where managers and players get paid stupid amounts of money to play a game is about as far from real life as you can get. And if they can't take a bit of stick from those who pay their wages when they're making such a complete hash of their fantasy then they need to grow a pair. As do you by the sounds of it. Or you need some pills or summat. Real Life? I cannot get my breath.
Re: No.............YES He will look at this message board Trouble with the team is that Keeef has got a lot of cake but not much iceing
Re: Oh, I'll still be getting a season ticket mate yep you and me both mate and they'll be a few more doing same. its in the blood mate they'll be a few making one excuse or another for not renewing thats their perogative i expect. but people like us are not customers we're probably sadists really and we'll be there chosse who's manager, how we're playing or what division we're in. oh yeah and still moaning:biggrin:
YT just a few stats have found, not having a go or owt. But the last 6 home games in 01/02 we had 94 attempts at goal with 45 on target. last 6 home games this season we have had 31 attempts at goal with 9 on target. This is the problem, the pedestrian build up which allows opponents to keep their shape, get men behind the ball to prevent very few attempts on goal, along with our need to overpass and lacking anyone who can beat a man regularly enough. We create bugger all at the mo.
Sadists? Yeah, that's fair & accurate If I can persevere with the likes of McSeveney, Iley, Spackman, Parkin, Hodges & Davey in charge, I can put up with Keith Hill!
Re: Oh, I'll still be getting a season ticket mate I am Marlon , a customer that is and not a fanatical.
Re: Oh, I'll still be getting a season ticket mate i don't consider myself a customer as the phrase seems to suggest casual aquaintance and i'm not part of the setup just a number which i don't accept. i also don't accept fanatical as that suggests i live drink and breathe everything about the club which i don't (well when i was 8/9 maybe). no sadists sounds about right i'll stick wit5h that.
