According to the manager. Oh by the way it's THIRTY quid to watch as well. Madness. £30 = 90 minutes of dire football at Oakwell For £30 you can watch over ELEVEN hours of the latest movies at cineworld in sheffield and still have some change in your pocket. Ok this isn't at peak times but you CAN watch over eleven hours of movies including Avengers Assemble which isn't even out yet. Lets compare the two shall we. Budget: Avengers Assemble: $220m BFC: £5m Running time: Avengers Assemble: 143minutes BFC: 90 minutes Cheapest cost to watch the two in the next week: Avengers Assemble: £5.70 BFC: £30 Cast: Avengers Assemble: Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L Jackson, Robert Downer Junior BFC: Scott Wiseman, Frank Nouble, Jimmy McNulty. Chuff me.
I think you can get an unlimited films option at the other cinema complex near meadowhell for like £15 a month.
Aye thats at cineworld. It really does show how out of touch football is with the rest of the world and furthermore just how out of touch our directors and owner are in my opinion.
Me and our nip paid £20 at The Crucible on Saturday morning and saw the reigning World Champion and three cracking young players. £30 Mr Rowing? No thanks!
Its quite amazing when you think about it. When Don Rowing attends the game on Saturday and looks over rows and rows of red empty seats, I wonder what will be going through his head. When the product that Barnsley Football Club was selling was of a resonable standard, people didn't come. A major reason for this is the price. Now, as the product turns to **** . . . as we end the season with a meaninless game on the back of a quite frankly shameful run . . . against a team with nothing to play for themselves and of no real relevance to us, they still try to charge premium prices. I'm no business genius. I would never claim to be. But I can see what is going on in front of my eyes and the red seat V person ratio is becoming a real one-sided affair at Oakwell. Something needs to be done.
Almost agree entirely apart from....... 1) Missing the gorgeous Cobie Smulders off the cast list as my favourite Canadian. 2) Not using American Pie The Reunion as the example. I see your point though
I think I would pay £30 to NOT sit through American Pie The Reunion - its likely to be even more cringworthy than watching us
