Neither will I because I won't be sad enough to be at the ground early enough to witness it

You could argue that winning a player of the year vote would reflect better on Jacob if we end up in a tribunal. I don't see why the club would disregard votes for him.

I agree about Butterfield, but what about Vaz Te votes? If he wasn't in the top 3 then there is something fishy going on.

They may of not counted the Butterfield votes because he has agreed a pre-contract agreement with another club?
    Just a thought

I find that unlikely as he was here all season. Normally they've just not allowed you to vote online for players that have left (and discounted votes by mail for them), but this season Vaz Te was on the list available to vote for. So whilst I could see they might discard Vaz Te votes (though don't think they should) I don't think they would have discounted Butterfield ones.

Its a shambles that fans voted for players no longer with club in my opinion!

Just to clear up any confusion - my two posts in this thread were sarcastic. I couldnt give a flying pig who won what tbh. The 2 best players to appear for us this season, were Jake and Vaz. If we had even ONE player of similar quality, still at the club, I would think about renewing. As it is, I will become a part-time fan I think next term.
Of the remaining players at the club, Id have given the award to either Davies or Perkins who were fantastic in spells, and have made the jump up in divisions look easy. Unlike Wiseman who makes football look impossibly hard
