Yup - really nice city, top people.

On a night get towards Grafton St - that's where the locals drink, much smarter than Temple Bar area.

I went a couple of years ago with work but we got some free time and it was great. The night life was very good and the Guiness does taste better over there.

Different type of yeast used in Ireland creates the smoother creamier taste. So they told me when I was over there earlier this year. Got to agree, it is better.

It's a fantastic place - very friendly, amazing night life. Temple Bar is great for live music but I would agree that Grafton Street and also O'Connell street are fantastic. We walked all around the city (lost on one or two occasions on the way back to the hotel) and I never saw anything to worry me. It's utter rubbish that they don't like the English - I go to the Rep of Ireland every year and the people are very friendly. Tbh, the only place I have ever had a problem being English was on a couple of occasions in Wales and that was just because we dropped on morons that exist everywhere. Have a great time pal.

Been a few times and gone to pubs on both sides of the river, never had a problem. There's a great brewpub down by the river, can't remember the name of it though.
