Would you like Butterfield to leave in the summer

Or sign a two year deal and leave for nothing at the end of it ?,

just wanting to see everyone opinions on the matter

 

Sign a two year deal and build a decent team around him lifting everyones value and gain promotion

or maybe just sell everyone for a massive profit

 

I'd definitely want him to stay. No substitute for class - he's creative and if he's not here, we'll need to add creativity.....

 

I'd like it if we could keep him, like ossettred says, build the team around that style of football, hopefully push for high mid-table in the first year, then maybe play offs in the second season.

Ideally we could get him on at least a 2yr contract, he carries on playing well and we get market value for him when he does go. It will be a tribunal fee in the summer though.

Don't understand the point of this thread.
He is going to Newcastle, and admits in the Chron today that he won't stay at Oakwell.
Of course I wish we could keep him, but the club dropped a bollok by not entering into contract talks with him 10 months ago.
Best player at the club, and a future England player - I am biased though

 

All these if's and but's Whitey, did the club do anything wrong did the last manager rate Butterfield?

Very relavent thread to our club at this present time as this could be a issue that raises its head a few times over the next few years

 

I want him to leave as his heart isn't with us.

 

Depends how much we get for him, if its below £750k keep him ,if its £1m or above sell
