Got to be worth a look as a replacement for Butterfield?

    Sorry No.
    RNL should be the replacement.

    Dunno

    they say "never go back".

I've tried and failed to think of any players that have come back and done well. Here's a few examples.

    Ian Banks
    Trevor Aylott
    David Currie
    Even "King" Ronnie Glavin

Oh I just thought of one

    Stuart Barrowclough

    Any more?

On what basis? He looked good as a 16 year old?

    Re: Dunno

Yes ordinarily but just look at the state of our midfield, even a Brian Howard half what he was is far better than the dross across the middle at the moment. I'd have him back tomorrow as he is exactly what we need to maintain our Championship status next season.

He's shown nothing to say he can replace Butterfield in my opinion. Big year for him next year but I don't think he'll be here

Aint going to happen. It would mean fans turning the clock back and remembering past achievements and Hill doesn`t want us mentioning that.

We may mention it once and get away with it like.

Didn`t Rochdale do well when Keith was there.

Well, any more lower league dross across the middle should mean Mr Hill on his bike before Bonfire neet. If not howard then we need an experienced attacking midfielder in the middle.

I agree. The key is affording those players.

Because it wouldn't surprise me if RNL was turning out for Grimsby next season
