    Start of next season will be important - it will either arrest or continue our current bad run of form (as they did in Davey's last season).

    I can sense the acceptance of a struggle ahead and that's not the way it should be. The new season should herald a new hope.....not the dread of scrapping for survival.

    What does it matter, he's been released. Bit worrying though that the expectation already is another relegation battle.

    His piece in the Barnsley Chronicle last friday was truthful without coming across as bitter for being released. He spoke a lot of sense in it.
