hard one, cause thinking of away games both are good (day out in london or weekend away in blackpool) for me prefer west ham to go up cause with charlton going up got a london trip to look forward it unless its on a tuesday, but would have prefered cardiff to go up as not the best away game to go to.
Blackpool Dodgy owners, dodgy manager, horrid fans, nasty captain, bland direct football, nicked Vaz Te.... has to be an orange success for the good of football.
West Ham for me - let's get one of the big guns out of the division, it'll be hard enough without having them to play as well.
I think I'd prefer Blackpool to go up. Birmingham will already be in the financial mire next season thanks to them and West Ham could be too if they lose. It would help us out if both teams have to sell players and/or face the 10points deduction...
Blackpool for me too Same reason - even my West Ham supporting mate doesnt like him and almost hopes they dont go up and get a manager who plays football properly in instead. West Ham is also a much easier away game for me - though I can live without it - not one of my favourites
I think it'll be West Ham don't think Blackpool are as good a team as last time they went up and haven't got Charlie Adams.
Blackpool for me too, another team who are always the underdog. Although I will miss the away day. West Ham could be up **** creek if they fail to go up.
A good play off final for the clubs point of view though. Won't we get another increased slice of the parachute money since both teams came down in 2010/2011?
West Ham, purely financial assuming there is an add on in the Vaz Te deal plus parachute payments for Yr2 will be distributed among the Champ clubs if WHU go up (reduced if Blackpool).
Re: West Ham, purely financial West Ham. Our record against them is terrible, if Blackpool go up we miss out on a seaside trip, Holloway is annoying, Bloomfield Road is a tip for the premiership and sooner Blackpool lose their parachute payments and go back to being on the same playing field as us the better
West ham for me. Allardyce was royally shafted by Blackburn, and if there's any justice he can wave them on as his team go up as theirs go down, and also as its been mentioned I think we get a few more quid for vaz te if they go up. Mind you if the don arranged the transfer it'll be another fifty quid and a bucket of jellied eels. And allardyce's football isn't as one dimensional and direct as some would have you believe. I do prefer Ian holloway but in fairness they're neither the most popular of gaffers. I believe in fairies, the Easter bunny, and Keith Hill.
Blackpool for me know its a good day out and all that but too many at WHU are too far up their own arse for me including the manager and 'pool are the natural underdog.
