Where is all the money suddenly coming from? The club has had to find the funds to build, then run, a brand new stadium. Then they are rumoured to be making substantial bids for new players, which (if proved to be accurate & completed) have to be paid along with the appropriate subsequent salary costs. Historically, Rotherham have had to play in front of low gates, generating very little income, especially whilst playing at the Don Valley Stadium these past few years. It's only a few years since they entered administration for the second time in two years and were deducted 17 points.
