I know Greer is a big centre half But I don't know anything about Norwood. Can anyone shed any light about the lad, please?
Re: I know Greer is a big centre half Don't know much myself other than he's a Man Utd academy graduate, plays central midfield, young, and had a spell at both Scunny and Coventry on loan. Could he be of the same quality as our last United youngsters just gone - Butterfield and Drinkwater? Greer on the other hand, always liked the look of him personally, and perhaps the dominant center half we have lacked since Moore departed? Shame Uncle Don has offered a used condom and a packet of Wrigleys

Norwood sounds a promising player if we're making a bid for him on a permanent, hope we can find the brass, could be a very shrewd investment. Cant comment on Greer, but Im pleased we're looking at defenders.
Well at least we're trying to do deals early on in the summer Make a statement as to who we're after, and give them chance to fit into the team so to speak. Hope we can get Jimbo's contract sorted out soon too. Doesn't look promising that we've had bids turned down though.
Re: Norwood sounds a promising player If he is 21 and not made it at utd, then we should look at perm and avoid another drinkwater fiasco. He proved himself at Cov last year, yes they went down, but he excelled for them rather him than clingan.

Re: Norwood sounds a promising player Wow they seem to have forgot where they were 2/3 years ago, maybe their supporters have blanked out the past 15 years of misery and ***** they've seen.
I suspect other clubs will be interested and an agent involved, so would be a great coup if we manage to sign him. FAO Don, I'd be half way down Grove St with my renewal form, just need a right back and my moneys yours.
Re: Norwood sounds a promising player Least the 'Drumstick' last post shows some humility and reality. Yes we are an established Championship club they should aspire to be like. Assuming their talk of Heskey, Owen and Raul is a joke - or is it!? Ironic to see Vaz Te gets a mention.
Re: Norwood sounds a promising player http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Greer Interesting us being after someone who scored their one and only Brighton goal against us last season. Wikipedia says he's their club captain. Be a coup for us pinching the club captain of a club unlucky to finish just outside the play offs.
Re: Norwood sounds a promising player I'm ok with the ones that say "why would he want to go there", given that we just avoided relegation and they missed out on the playoffs. That's fine, but it's the ones that are aghast that we should have the audacity to bid for one of their players that gets me.....perhaps they'd like to tell us whose players we are allowed to bid for then! It's how it works, if theres a player we'd like and we think he's in our range we can make a bid.....they are perfectly at liberty to turn it down or accept it. As it happens, they turned it down - so I don't even see why it's an issue for them!
Re: Norwood sounds a promising player I hope we sign him now, even if hes **** lol. Just to piss them off
Re: Norwood sounds a promising player Brighton:-full of trumpt up gay-lords with ass-holes like clowns pockets. Just that!
