    I'll bet your giro that they go further in the Euros. When it is an actual English team not just a name that happens to be based there.

    Let's hope Abramovich stays interested now he's finally got what he wanted. I'd hate for him to pull his money out.

    No idea , I was just hoping there were a few English players. I reckon there was 4 English and at least 6 Germans, could be wrong though.

    apparently there was 8 Germans .

    If UEFA enforce the new rules and the lawyers don't find a way round them the lottery wins might be over for some of the Premier League clubs. Under the new rules clubs can only lose £36 million over two years. In last year alone Man City lost £197 million. This might change things for the better in the premiership, but it depends if UEFA have the balls to uphold the rules.

    I think the rules will apply to all clubs....as all clubs keep spending money they don't have, it is just English clubs do it to excess because of the foreign money.

    its ironic when english clubs are spending big money everyone calls foul especially uefa when they let italians and spanish do it for years and never a murmor.
    i don't agree with whats happening in english football by the way, its just an observation really
