Anyone who endangers other people because they can't do without a drink (or drugs) before driving or who can't wait to check Facebook until they stop should be banned for life. If they actually hurt anyone it should be attempted murder and have a similar penalty.

 

I, like all the rest, used to drink and drive when I was younger

.............every foooker were pissed in them days...........I've smashed a few cars up in my time.
My cousin has a big scare down the middle of his forehead for an example of my time behind the wheel pissed
He were thrown out of the back of an estate car i had. The car was like a banana
It said dual carriage way ahead........and I thought I was going to drive onto a dual carrage way..........unfortunatly for mi cousin it meant a dual carrgae way crossed our path
I've also ran people over and run through the door of a chip shop with the car (on purpose) and things like that.........all part of being young and pissed

However, things have changed and its now unexceptable..........I wouldn't do it now

But but but............for all the times i have been pissed and driven the car..........I have been more in control of the car than I was about 3 weeks ago when I drove the car from York at about 4 in the morning

I didn't have anything to drink and yet I was all other the road including the A1 motorway............cause.......TIREDNESS

That journey was the most frightening of my life
So in my view, TIREDNESS is worse than being pissed

I remember coming out of a party from Spike Island darn Thurnscoe.........I had a land rover at the time
Tried to get around this parked car and took all his right back wing off..........so I thought foooking hell, let me get away here fast, so I reversed and tried to get round the parked car around the pavement...........result..........took his other foooking back wing off

..............foooked off quick.............his car.........foooking right off

I've hundreds of tales like these.
Remember goiung to Blackpool in the back of a mini van and mi mate, who were pissed, missed the turning on the motorway, so he stopped the car on the middle lane and reversed back !!!
Cars were skimming passed either side of the back window of the car............I thought i was dead then

another one for yer..............

Got an old banger escourt van...........I knocked the roof in to make an hollow on the roof so I could sit on the roof with a 12 bore shotgun with my feet either side of the front window and mi cousin drove the van
We'd had a skin full at a local pub and decided to take the van out.........later that night police caught us poaching on some farm fields ...........both pissed, van full of dead rabbits, neither of us had a shot gun licence and he didnt have a driving licence

Oh, and the car didn't have an MOT.

And another...........not driving this time.......but to do with alcohol and cars

Mi cousin (lad) had a fall out with his 2 sisters...........

Called on him the next day............his siters had had a drink the night before and gone round his car with hammers and smashed all his windows
He didnt have a window left in the car

He were stood there with tears in his eyes, but I couldn't help howling with laughter at him

You say times have changed and its now not acceptable, but I am just trying to figure out when it was ever acceptable to run people over and run through the door of a chip shop "on purpose" whilst pissed. if there was a time when it was acceptable then I am kind of glad that we live in more fluffy society now. I'll never again knock the over PC nature of modern society.

Remember driving away from the Pussy Cats (remember that place!!!) and I'd had a skin full.........drove towards Donny and hit a big roundabout face on doing about 60 and did a Dukes of Hazzard flying straight over and landing on the middle of the roundabout.........put a letter V in one of the wheels that day

Thing was...............in thiose days if you could get out of the car and run off.....then the police didnt want to know

But if you smashed it up and were on the scene pissed then the police would then arrest you.........never ever had any problems with the police
Although once they tried to breathalize me......but I ran out of the back of the hospital
