    I expect youngsters to become top players.

    Says how he heard about this set of players and then hes had chance to work with them. Said they where the positive of the second half of the season.

    Why would we want to talk about same old? He's talked the youngsters up many times before. Did we really need to read him doing it again? Just going over thoughts of his we are already aware of, to fill some post season column inches.

    Im as pissed off with BFC at the moment as anyone but ffs. When he actually says something positive your still fecking moaning.

    Maybe hes trying to build the young lads' confidence. You may be fed up of hearing him talk about them but maybe they aren't. If i was a young un breaking into the first team I would love to hear the manager talking and writing about me.

    Its the first manager in years that has actually taken any notice of the academy lads.

    I'd agree with Digby. Rest nowhere near. RNL has a big season ahead of him otherwise the Conference beckons.

    The problem isn't talking up academy players it's he said nothing new that we'd not heard him already say countless times before, thus it made his column look like post season filler. If since he last spoke them up he'd got someone on a longer contract or we'd had a game that someone had played well in or it was pre season and one was doing well in training that's different.

    HE said Clark would be disappointed. THATS Jordan Clark not Keith Hill.

    KEith Hills been very clear on is opinion on Clark, he's been doing very well in u18s and training.

    He has been on holiday for the last 2 weeks, this column has been at the Chron for nearly 3 weeks. Of course its a filler!

    Why are you yet again stirring thing up? Maybe people have no problem with what he had to say this week Maybe people are fed up of people constantly whinging about them if they do say something about his Chronicle column Or maybe we all got together and decided we would not say anything just to piss you off!!!!!

    You are one of the main problems with this forum lately, constantly on the wind up and sitting there knocking one out whenever someone bites. Then having the bloody gall to complain about others is just abot as crazy as it gets!

    in other words what hes saying is hes getting knockback on every player hes going for so hes going to have to go with the young uns and to be honest who would want to come to barnsley when they find out the board are a set of tight sods with no ambition only to stay in the championship.
