I suppose it depends on your taste. Most of those songs don't do owt for me so I wouldn't say it was a good year for me. I'd probably say the late 80s or early 90s were the best years for music but I couldn't pick out a particular year.
To be honest I think there's still some cracking music to be found today you just need to keep away from the charts but got agree there were some really good songs in that chart
Not really, you need to clarify further... Early 80's: Ska / Mod revival / late Punk = Fantastic music. Late 80's = Hip Hop / Stock Aitken and Waterman = utter cr@p. HTH.
I`m sure you have a Heart of Gold and that you see most things as Black and White but You're Still A Young Man,and You Wear It Well, but I like a bit of Footstompin' Music with my Summer Sun, you must remember to Respect Yourself.,it may be that you have,Never Been To Spain so I'll Take You There we can show everyone that We're Free and you can play with, My Ding A Ling, I cant imagine life, Without You. As Im Looking Through My Window , hoping that You Don't Mess Around With Jim in his Taxi,. I've Been Lonely For So Long with this Burning Love because You Are Everythingand I'd Love You To Want Me, we should ignore the Backstabbers because as you know the First Time Ever I Saw Your Face I cried Hallelujah[/COLOR ], please Don't Say You Don't Remember that Song Sung Blue. The very second that School's Out we can Listen to the Music and you wont need that,Long Cool Woman In A Black dress, because if you check on your Diary we will fly down Ventura Highway eating American pie drinking Brandy as I'd Love You To Want Me my Rocket Man I really need to get a life.....
