I find it staggering to hear people slagging off Butterfield on here.

Yes I think he should stay and develop here with us but no-one knows what might happen next season and if he has a good offer from another club, premiership or championship, and we cannot come close to matching it, he would be a fool not to take it.

As Preece said in his Vaz Te article, he may not get another chance.

No-one on here knows exactly how much he's on, has been offered by us or been offered by Newcastle, Reading or anyone else (if anything at all).

But 99% of people on here if offered a deal 5 times current salary to stay or 15/20 times current salary to move then they would move.

Back to the original topic of the thread I hope Jim-bob stays, I hope we have offered him a fair share of the wages we have saved from Gray, Jay-Mac & Doyle.

    .

Big difference for me is that before the leeds game, thi mate Via the comical kept bullsh*tting the fans into to thinking he might stay, jimbo and vaz te have kept their traps shut with regards their future plans.I'd have more respect for butterfeild if he cut the bull and just told us the truth that he wants out.
