Once he moves he'll never do owt again. Right man, right club, right time. Can't imagine who will sign him.
Luckiest man in football. Dropped on there at Norwich. Villa fans will be booing him by half time of the first game.
Never do owt again? You make it sound like he's only done it at one club. He's been successful in all four divisions and was the second top English premiership scorer last season. Very unlucky not to be in the Euros squad.
Were Norwich in League One when they signed him?? As I said right club at the right time. If he had been promoted with Norwich no other Premiership club would have shown the slightest interest. He might have got a Championship club but his best years were in the fourth division.
One of the few ex-Rochdale laikers that I wouldn't moan about us acquiring. And it baffles me the stick he gets. Second only to Looney in the goalscoring department for English strikers, and played in every division. A success story if ever there was one. His only problem - he used to play for the blue and white striped *****.
Did you fall into a coma for the last couple of seasons? HIs best year of his career was last season, all those goals in the top division. Or was I dreaming?
I clearly meant that before Norwich signed him his best years were in the fourth division and based on this he would never have been signed by a Premiership club. Apologies if it wasn't clear enough but no need to try and be a funny fvcker.
Oooooooooooh, hark at her. Calm down dear. He was with Wednesday in 2003/04 and Forest 2006-08, i.e. not in the 4th division. You're wrong, just admit it.
So you're saying his best days were with Forest and Wednesday and not Rochdale and Shrewsbury in the fourth divsion. Both pre-Norwich. I must have been in that coma you were on about when he was banging 'em on for Wednesday.
Admittedly he wasn't prolific for Wednesday but he was 1 in 4 for Forest over nearly 100 games (compared to a lot BFC strikers it is not too bad). I don't think he is a great player at all but I think you do him a dis-service by labelling him as a 4th division player. He has since performed admirably for Norwich in the top 3 divisions.
21 in 96 for Forest apparently and I do believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that Forest were in League One between 2005-8. I never labelled him as a fourth division player. What I said was that prior to Norwich his best days were in the fourth division and he would never have been considered good enough to play in the Premiership. Would you have expected a Premiership club to sign him when he was at Shrewsbury??
