looked poor in scottish premier and thats about on par with our league, as its already been stated he is a league 2 player, wouldnt suprise me to see him at rotherham
Seems to have lost his way somewhat These past few years. If he's available on a free transfer, he may well pop up on the club's radar as an experienced Championship player. Whether that meets with the approval of the fans is another matter.
Re: Seems to have lost his way somewhat He may not be the ideal one, but id love to see us get an experienced player to partner Davies.
If the claims Of the club looking at bringing in experienced Championship players, strikers of the likes of David Healy & David Connolly may well be considered as potential signings.
Re: Agreed id give him a shot on like a pay as u play contract i carnt see him going to a club like rotherham, fleetwood etc surley some championship teams will give him another go :s
As clubs tighten their belts financially in the coming seasons I think that sort of contract will be offered more & more often to players of a certain age, or a debatable history with regards to injuries.
not as daft as it sounds that, i reckon there is a lot of clubs in the bottom 2 divisions who have a bigger budget than us which is pretty pathetic
