    What will bolt be judged on?
    records and titles? Yes and so will nadal and so will any sportsman or women.

    Apart from Nadal and Bolt don't play team sports. Just like Kim Yuna, multiple time gold medalist, and American-based swimmer Mr Phelps.

    When people become professional sports people obviously there key aim is to be the best at what they do.
    Not everyone can be a winner in sport as there is only 1 first place but they push themselves hard striving to be the best.
    If they cannot beat the best then along the way they hope that they can at least entertain people and become good role models.


    Does your philosophy stay the same then that it's not the taking part it's the winning that counts?

    Nadal is part of a team.
    Hes got a coach ( nadal uncle) hitting partner and other team members.
    Same with any tennis player apart from federer maybe who does thing slightly different.

    Hes not a one man band and bolts the same.

    never been a fan of losing ever. Sports day at junior school. All this everyones a winner. Its SH*T, one winners medal or twenty.

    Phil, I am sure that you have watched tennis and athletics, so you will have noticed that unless it is a doubles match, then there is only 1 player each side of the net and in sprinting unless its a relay race, there is only one runner in each lane. So to say that they are team sports is downright bloody silly!
    Yes they have coaches etc. but that in no way makes them a team sport!.
