he just annoys me, he should be made to go in to dressing rooms and face the likes of evra and others. He should be made to listen to the players who get these attacks then he should explain why FOOTBALLERS.are going through this.
Different degrees of racism, I am intrigued. Know a lot of French people do you? I am sure they positively wet themselves when called a frog. Good grief.
Do you mean beat him up? Phil, I can see your point but the coming off the pitch has to be left to the referee who has clear instruction on the matter to decide when to take the players off the pitch. If the players just walk off then I'm sure the referee will show show some compassion and exercise common sense where he can but UEFA dont want the games turning into chaos which could happen if there isn't a clear directive on what to do under certain circumstances.
Why should a white ref say ifs its bad enough or not? Evras made it quite clear what he thinks and Evers fellow french man took them to a place where he will get it. He should explain to all the black players why HE thinks this is ok.
Don't be so naive Phil. I am white and I would know when it was right to take players off. The refs will speak to players if they hear chants from the stand and will take their opinions into account when making a judgement. Do you really think they haven’t got a clue just because they are white.
But this is what you get when you stage tournaments in locations where such mindless actions are frequent. I hate racism, but I would hope that a player was strong enough to ignore any obscene chanting and just focus on his game, leaving the police/stewards to deal with such incidents.
The police dont do anything. Head of police told BBC, it doesnt happen in ukraine. They arent nazi signs there just pointing at othet team.
I can just see Hemmsy now at home with his mum sat at the dining table and our Phil with a bandage around his head goose stepping past her shouting "don't mention the war"
Just as a side point, I've noticed that when you ask someone to correct you or prove you wrong, and they do, you don't bother to respond to them. Interesting.
May i refer the honourable gentleman to the following quote made by our esteemed West Yorkshire colleague- never been a fan of losing ever.
It's a sensitive subject, but personally i think that someone making a nazi salute is one of the worst forms of racism because of what the salute actually represents- the deaths of millions of people and unbelievable suffering. All racism in disgraceful, and in this day and age we should not be having a major tournament in a country where racism and nazi salutes appear at almost every domestic match.
