just got back been a fantastic weekend off darts and i got to see my 6th different major winner live, having been at events Taylor as won 5 times, this weekend as been the best weekends darts i've ever been to, and its been nice to witness Thornton doing so well after what he's been through been to rock bottom and to the top in space of 8 months, really happy for the bloke
He deserved it, bet some good players on the way. I used to love going to the darts but the crowds now are to interested in getting drunk than enjoying the game, ive had some memorable nights at the Circus tavern and have been lucky enough to see 3 of the best finals of all time.
tonight some ***** tried getting on stage, half way through the final, but bouncer took him down and beat him up a bit, ive been going years i love it, but as its got bigger its attracting a lot more knob heads
Yeah heard summat about that on Sky but they never showed it again. Blackpool is a good one, but not been there since 2002. I might go to Dublin later this year for the tournement, its the only one ive not been out of the 'majors'.
Thornton played excellent. Nice to see a new name on a televised trophy. 40k will shoot him well up the rankings.
