It's less than 2 hrs to kick off, make sure you have more than 6 staff on its going to be 8 rows deep at the bar. I'm watching this one at home but l'll probably call in for Fridays game so if you get this one right there's a chance on Friday.

The staff are slow as well. It helps to have a female in your group as the sexist staff in there serve them much quicker even if they have only just reached the bar and guys have been waiting for 10-20 minutes.

They actually do that for a reason. Women bring in more money out in the club/bar than they do queuing up to get served.

How do they? 99% of the time on nights out guys spend more than women. Women alot of the time bring their own vodka and buy a coke to save money. Or they share a bottle of wine or pitcher. Guys drink alot more.

more women on the dance floor means the club is more appealling to men who as you just said spend a lot of money. women on dance floor also means men buying them a drink or two.

the women dont spend more but they earn the bar more money when.theyre not in a queue

Walkabout is toss, they fail to click when Barnsley are at home or a big game on telly. Never go there any more if I'm thirsty.

For that reason we watched the game in Old No7 - served immediately and free pork pie and sarnis all night. Sod the franchises stick to local.

Pretty quiet today and avoids Fosters and Carling for other lagers and real ale. What else is a proper pint? Carlsberg in a plastic glass?

Good luck if you tried purchasing food today in Walkabout. Microwave working overtime.

Haven't been in the Walkabout for months due to the service issues, same goes for the White Bear the last time I went in was a Friday night in early May and they had 3 serving while people queued 4 deep at the bar. Can probably count on 1 hand the number of pubs in Barnsley with a decent speed of service.

Wouldn't the bar make more money if they served people quicker? They aren't making money if folk are stood waiting for a pint!
