Bloody Hell thats two clubs in Jockland gone in a day..... Glasgow Rangers have gone as well !! Who cares..... daft Jocks
Hope they stay in business - never good to see a club go under. Directors long since gone have put the club in this position not the fans. Been to Celtic park this season and was planning to go to ibrox next season - hope it works out
The other SPL clubs will probably vote to allow them back in the premier league anyway so i can't see it making too much difference to the footballing pyramid up there.
But will the clubs listen to or care what the fans think? Money talks a lot louder than fans in football unfortunately. It will show football to be utterly corrupt if they get back in the SPL.
I agree. The same went through my mind earlier when I was told that Portsmouth had applied for membership of the BSP. Christ knows how that will affect some poor ****ers who have played by the rules and had got promoted to the BSP and then get told they can't go up?
The only reason I want them to stay in business is because the other smaller clubs in that 2 team dominant league, are dependant on them. Yet another case of appalling management at the top, and the people who suffer are the creditors, and the fans. They need the other clubs to agree for them to go back in the league.... if roles were reversed they'd probably let a smaller club die.
Football is a mess but the bodies that run the game are the architects of their own mess. What would be the circumstances for Pompey ending up in the BSP? Is it just failing to complete their fixtures? It would affect clubs all the way down the football hierarchy if it were to happen.
I think it is incase they cannot exit admin and therefore the league don't let them start the new season.
