This'll be it. http://www.directsoccer.co.uk/acatalog/Laser_Game_snr_Varsity-Red_White.html Very imaginative.
Put a / prostar label on it and people would be up in arms... But because it's Nike it seems the boringness of their designs is acceptable. Forty quid for polyester in a "couldn't be bothered to think about it" design. Might give it a miss.
I like it, I just wish they would have persuaded CK Beckett to have the line between the two rows of text white instead of yellow, it looks odd, it did last year and still does spoil the overall look of the kit for me.
Nothing to do with it being Nike, fed up of kits that add flashes of white here and fancy designs there. Nice retro kit for the 125 anniversary....like the kit we had when I first started watching them. Would like a replica of our first kit as the away kit.
If that were to be the new kit Then I like it. I much prefer the plain, traditional football strips to the gaudy, flamboyant ones.
£18.74 plus £1.26 for badge and £2.50 for sponsor = £39.99. Might get one though even if I agree with fired a bit.
Re: If that were to be the new kit I'm not saying we need gaudy flamboyant ones ... I just don't want to pay £40-£45 for something my 8yr old could have designed. Given the 125, I even agree with traditionalism, but that is Nike taking the Mickey in my opinion. Yours, grumpy.
Re: If that were to be the new kit Have you not seen Fred Perry polos for example? Very simple designs but classy and go for 50 notes.
