If England win the group they'd be set up to meet Germany in the semi.
If we are 2nd in group then probably play Spain in quarters.

So just a case of how early we want to come home!

You cannot play against anyone from the same group until the final.

(e.g. If England and France go through to the Q/F's they could only meet again in the final)

Usually make it so you can't meet the team from your group again until the final. That has changed before when 2 countries hosting to ensure they stay in their own country, but fortunately this time they've reverted to how it should be.

 

I stand corrected then, thought the tournament was in 2 halves. So who to we meet in the semis?

 

We'll not get to Semis

But if we do either Germany, Greece, Portugal or Czech Republic depending on where we finish in the group.

 

I had been told we could avoid germany and Spain til the final, hadn't checked. We'll beat any of them anyway.

 

If we finish runner up in our group we'll get Czech Republic or Portugal in the Semis. If we win our group we'll get either Germany or Greece. Should of course we win our quarter final match. And we haven't even qualified from the group yet.
