And one of his regular customers is, apparently, a good friend of our FA Board Member. He's told me today that Mr Taylor has a business colleague in South Africa that has invested some dollar this Summer giving Hill plenty to spend. No takeover, just an injection of cash. Would explain why we sign Dagnall in Jan and Mido in June... PS - he's not the helicopter pilot.
Can you get me some of these cheap, please?? http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-dur..._source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=uk
Real mesters ride push bikes. They only wear lycra and when they come off at 40mph they just don't themselves down and get back on. None of this protective leather stuff.
Assuming for a moment it's true... Why would a South African businessman put some money into Barnsley, what's in it for him?
Electronic shifters No more cyclists with worn out fingers from all that manual lever pressing. Spaykin of groupsets, my gears skip when going uphill and I think the chain is worn. Question is, if I replace the chain, will I have to replace the meshing parts do you reckon? The groupset will be about 12 years old now so may well have worn in sympathy. I don't want to needlessly replace stuff though cos it'll cost an arm and a leg. Especially from a local bike shop, which I'll probably have to go to as I have no idea about backwards compatibility of Shimano gear.
Re: Assuming for a moment it's true... Not being funny, and I think mellis and mido are great signings, but it's hardly throwing loads of dollar at it, is it?
