Looks like he could be a good player but from what i saw at oakwell last season he let himself down big time and supprised he didnt get sent off for me last season he was one of the dirtiest players that came to oakwell i like that kind of player so itll be interesting if he signs Feel for Davies tho if the Mido and this deal goes through...
Completely agree. As a centre half I can't stand people who swing elbows, which he did all game. Cowardly
It is, but we seem to be signing a few players with a "reputation". Would you accept rougher physical players if it meant we were safe by March?
Futacs can do the one thing that Davies can't do and thats be a target man. I'd be amazed if we signed this fella. He was a right handful last year at Oakwell and I mentioned at the time we needed someone just like him to shake teams up. One of the problems that we had last year is we were too nice and a soft touch. It would be nice to see a bit of a grizzly git up front. If you add to that some guile and pace in midfield and a leader at the back and you've got the makings of a good team.
According to the report if we sign him we will have to pay cos he is under 24 and a contract had been offered to him. However, how valid is that contract offer? He already had in place a proposed extension but it was going to cost them daft money so Pompey didn't invoke it. Could it be argued that they have reneged on a deal by offering lower terms ? Just wondered! Any legal types care to comment?
I believe that under FL Contract rules a player under 24 has to be offered a contract at the same level or higher in order for the club holding the said players registration to claim compensation.
