    With the recent signings of Mido (MIIIIIDOOOO!! MIIIIIDOOOO!!!), Mellis and Etuhu I feel like there is a (not so) quiet optimism and buzz going around about the upcoming season.

    I for one can't wait now.

    aggreed worsboro,i feel exactly the same..........completely different to how i was feeling in april.

    Spot on Worsbro. I can't wait for the new season. I hope these new signings get some more fans down to the box office to renew.

    Exactly. I was always planning on getting to as many matches as I can, but now i'll be doing it with optimism, not pessimism.

    I think we just need a beast in defence and we could be onto something.

    The best thing to come out of these signing at the min is that word is floating around and accosiated with BFC when it has not been for quite some time - Optimism.

    I'm less despondent than I was.

    I just worry that Mido will be sold in January, Mellis will be injured and Etuhu will be eating porridge. Then it will be woe is Keith and a slide down the table.

    It's amazing I started a new job earlier this year and for the first time in years I get Saturday's off and I always planned to get a season ticket but by the end of the session I was beginning to wonder about just choosing my games (tho if I'm been honest I'd have ended buying one) but now there's no doubt in my mind, I can't wait,

    All coming together nicely then! Hopefully the season will too.

    I'll be going to as many as I can, looking forward to it too!

    I also hope Mido gets a hat-trick against the wendy wan.kers to silence em
