Keefy has made some shocking signings but daggers is without doubt one of the worst players to grace our not so mighty club. absolutely fooking rubbish daggers - but on the other hand he didn't offer himself the contract did he keef? hth
The signing of Dagnall was simply crazy........never in a million years is he good enough at Championship level
I thought Rob Edwards was alright when he played. Admittedly, he didn't play much and that is a worry, but I've no problem with him if we can get him fit. Big if of course.
I assume he has another year on his agreement. IIRC, Hill signed him as a captain (he's been fine when he has played), but with so many injuries who would take him?
My issue is he has looked ok, but I'm pretty sure he is a top earner and when you have a small budget you can't afford someone on the highest wages not to be in the starting XI. He is good in the tackle and getting blocks in, but I think his reading of the game isn't great and his distribution's poor (I don't quite get this idea that Foster is poor on the ball, I think he is quite good). I am not saying that Foster and McNulty are necessarily good enough but I think they are a better pairing than with Edwards in there. I would like to see a centre-half in and I can't see that happening with Edwards staying. Having said that I accept he wasn't often fit and with a good run in the team he may look better.
Agree he looks ok when fit but I don't think a club our size can afford to carry injury prone players, especially when they are amongst the highest earners, which he is.
