was going to watch it and then someone who isn't as brainwashed as him, i'll never drink again gave a review and said the basically the way you go on about is ott and then i decided i've better things to do with my time.
It's an illness you thick *******. Can't stand people like you, 21 year old still living with your mum watching sky sports. How about get off your arse and do something with your life before having a go at other peoples life styles? Each one of my friends has achieved more than you in life already, either at university or got a decent job as plumbers for example. Get off your ****ing arse and make something of your life. Reason you don't go drinking is probably because you've got no mates to go drinking with! Cretin.
So the same as everything then - including Sir Alex Ferguson's view on Gazza - if it doesn't fit in with your narrow minded view of a subject you ignore it.
What are these better things you speak of? And are the people dishing out your benefits aware of them?
How sad to see him in that shape. What was Jimmy doing? His life long best mate and appeared to not try and stop his mate
I will one day but i bet he's not like you have made out on here. If he is, i will say. Maybe i will cry about it ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyway answer the question about his son above, what must he think. Did you know he said on camera, he will not watch football because he thinks they are all like is dad. What must he think of him then?
The guy is obviously ill but seems to be unable to accept the help he has been given. Personally I think this goes back to the injury he picked up in the cup final - he had the world at his feet. There are not many players who I've seen that gave me a buzz when they got the ball - same buzz I got em when glavin got the ball.
Same buzz I got when Hignett had the ball. Gazza, off the field, has his issues and demons, and I don't see anybody trying to suggest otherwise. But Hemsworth is arguing anyway. With who or what, I dunno, but bless him he'll tire his self out soon.
God given talent bestowed on someone who it seems was incapable of handling all the weight of expectation that came with it. Still think if he'd had the guidance of Ferguson rather than the indulgence of Venables then things may have turned out a whole lot different.
At the moment it happened yes I am - never got back to his best. Not every player was on the brink of a multi million pound move
Interesting bit of compassion, I suppose i`m of a past era. where I was taught, if you havent got anything nice to say about someone dont say anything at all...I am still haunted by my first last meeting with George Best in an Edinburgh hotel when Denis Law was drunk, but Best was comatose, couldnt even sign his name...very sad day that should have been a very pleasurable one..
Do we know for a fact that HT is a sponger?? Is he looking for a job or not? Gazza reminds me a lot of Ozzy Osbourne. Very insecure people who surround themselves with hangers on who lead them down the wrong path. Once your on the path to self destruction it's difficult to get off. I think Gazza would have had the same problems regardless of him being a footballer.
HT - what are your opinions of George Best? Both Gazza and Best were among the most talented and self-destructive players we have ever produced. Both could win a game in a second, but also had problems entirely of their own making. Best died from his problems, Gazza will probably go the same way. If you don't like those players because they were drunks, what about players like Taggart who were often found propped up by the bar in Whispers at 2am after a game? Does this extend in other areas of life as well? Will you watch a Mel Gibson or Charlie Sheen film. What about River Phoenix or Heath Ledger? Do you listen to any music made by anyone who has ever drunk/taken drugs? Often these people need someone to say "no" to them, but they just get indulged due to their fame and before you know it are too far gone for help.
No excuses for anyone that drinks to excess. I'm 21 and when i see that people of my age have done things because of drink and it's only because there early 20's i think thats not right. If you drink to a certain point and you can't control yourself then it's your fault. It's possible to go out and drink a soft drink, i've done it. Met someone on here before a football match 18 month ago and i didn't feel the need to keep up with them and got a coke or a half.
