The big picture They do nothing at International level for a long time They do nothing at club level either. They DO have debt and a lot of it. They do have foreign players too. Ghana or polish, they do have but they decide to call them Germans because they haven't enough good players. Half of their side didn't even sing the national anthem, because its not there national anthem.
There are a lot of Poles in the Germany squad, but more to the point how does it feel to be a part of a shameful statistic - you are one of the 1m NEETS in this country. You should stop trying to claim the moral high ground.
So it's not "their national anthem"....people that moved to Germany as children, or as asylum seekers, and then go onto represent their adopted country. Why don't we look at all the Poles etc that have moved here? Here's a thing - Germany get to the semi finals and lose and that to them is failure, England lose in a semi final and we consider we've had a successful tournament.
We lost to same team. I'll watch the Italy vs England game back later but i think England played better than Germany against Italy. The polish aren't English, there Polish, speak Polish...
We rarely lose in a semi final. We have only been to 3 in our history. Anybody trying to say Germany aren't one of the most successful nations is clearly a bit of an idiot on football matters, I would suggest that they try another sport, like croquet.
Aren't most of them so called half English/ Welsh? The only one that might be tricky but he played over here for 5 year and couldn't play for SA because of the colour of KP's skin which isn't right.
Trott, KP, Kieswetter, Strauss, Prior, Morgan, Dernbach, just to name a few current players who weren't born in England (or Wales). We have been doing it for years too. In the 90's we once played a test with 7 of the 11 born abroad. But it's ok for us to do it.
Moving the goalposts. A classic tactic of somebody losing an argument. Well done. You really should try croquet.
Right I am going to type the following for you as simple as possible: Of the German squad in euro 2012 only two were born outside of Germany. The bundesliga combined owes less than Bolton wanderers. Over 60 per cent of bundesliga players qualify for the German national team. They have reached the SEMI FINALS of the last FIVE tournaments as a bare minimum. Does this compute with you?
''Over 60 per cent of bundesliga players qualify for the German national team.'' you keep saying that but it means nothing. I you have a weaker league then more of you nationals will play in your league. I would bet the Irish leagues a high% or Welsh, Lithuania...
You honestly don't have a clue do you? After 2000 eu championships the German FA decided they would never be embarrassed like that again. They have redeveloped invested and improved youth development right down to the grass roots. When uefa brought in the home grown rule, Germany instead of following the sheep and sticking some home grown foreign kids al la mufc arsenal etc they ruled they had to qualify for the national team. English top flight has 33% of its players who qualify for the national team... I would love to know your rational for why the bundesliga is such a weaker league when you compare it to the EPL and I'll quite happily pick your points to shreds as you only have one 'what have they won'
They had one club in top 10 or club Club coefficients 2011/12 England had 3, 4 in top 11. England top Country coefficients 2011/12 spainish and English 1/2 Only Bayern ever do anything.
