After vowing not to renew my ST last year (first time in 17 years).

I was going to go down and renew it this afternoon after we unveiled Norwood.

Now, I'm holding off once again.

Unless there is another one or two quality signings, I'm at a point where I just can't justify the price of a season ticket this year. The signings Keith has made so far have really impressed me and I'm looking forward to the upcoming season, but I still need that little bit more convincing to part with my money. The signing of Norwood would've convinced me.

Butterfield re-signing would probably also twist my arm into renewing as he is probably better than Norwood (can't compare massively, obviously) and he along with Mellis, Perkins, O'Brien, Ethuhu and Dawson would comprise to make up a good, solid midfield.

I think we are a solid centre half and another attacking midfielder/striker away from becoming a top 12 side.

There is something not quite right with your stance on this. Can't put my finger on words to use to describe what I mean. Babyish? "Not renewing until so and so", do you support BFC or what?

    Don't renew. Stop away.

You'd obviously have an attack of the vapours having to watch lesser players than you deem your eyes worthy of looking upon.

It's a good job that not everyone has this attitude towards buying a season ticket. Just get one bought and support the club and Keef.

I'm with poet on this one, I'm not renewing unless Keith comes to my house (I will except the club sending a chauffeur driven car for me to visit the club) and he explains his vision for the up coming season, I also want assurances that any future signings will be run by me first so I can give my approval, then and only then will I consider renewing my ticket

I'm at a point in my life where I have to be shrewd with my money. I love watching Barnsley FC, but unless I feel that I'm going to get my moneys worth this coming season, and see some quality and passion down at Oakwell, my money will have to remain in the bank for more important ventures.

Good signings and postivity coming into the club have won me around somewhat, but I want to see more before the big kick off.

Extremely Northern - I hardly think you can comment as you don't even go to the matches anyway.

If you think Perkins and Dawson are good players, surely you are quite easy to please??

Hardworking terriers. Just what we need at the side of the likes of Mellis and Butterfield.

    Just renewed mine this afternoon

Last season really pissed me off, more than I can ever remember. When we were doing well I thought our manager acted like a complete lovely person, while the second half of the season was as bad as I've ever seen. But time has passed and I've mellowed some what. Fact of the matter is I want Barnsley FC to do well and the best way I can help that happen is by purchasing a season ticket. So I have done. Who we do or don't buy is irrelevant.

But I must say, if you are influenced by who we sign then you don't get any more box office than Mido. He's probably the most invigorating signing we've made since I've been supporting Barnsley. Plus Etuhu and Mellis are exciting young prospects. I can sort of understand those who were waiting to see our dealings in the transfer market before making a purchase, but now, having seen them, it's beyond me how they can still say no. There must be another reason.

I also understand those who are annoyed by our manager, he gets to me too, but I think his recent interviews are completely different to what he used to come out with. They've been getting better since the turn of the year.

If you don't want to get a season ticket then don't get one, it doesn't make you a better person if you do, but I think the manager and the club are doing all they can to make us a better prospect next season. Doesn't mean we will be, but I think it's disingenuous to claim you're not supporting the club because of our transfer activity.

I want more bang for my buck! The Norwood deal would've clinched me. The CK Beckett stand is nothing without me.
