    What the hell has age got to do with recognising a good player? I never saw the likes of Best, Pele, Cruyff, etc live but I know they are amongst the greatest players to have ever played the game. I dont get your point, if there is a point.

    People tell me Ronnie Glavin was best player ever to pull on a Barnsley shirt, i'd never dream of saying no he's not because i never saw him, so i can't comment on the fact because i never saw him, i think Neil Redfern is the best we've ever had because i saw him, but i'd never say to someone who says its Ronnie Glavin there wrong because i don't know do i,

    You've just contradicted yourself then. Why people argue against HT is because he is adamant Gazza wasn't a great player. Although he didn't see him and the ones saying he was great did see him.

    I can and will often saying things whilst watching football ...
    Often 5 mins before commentators.

    But something know one can say and mean, i dont listen to others opinions.

    You're a sky sports puppet. Everyone knows it. Deny it all you like. You take anything you hear on there as gospel, and then come on here and preach. You can't have a discussion without saying "so and so said". Gazza is rubbish, Keane and Vieira were limited, hemsy is mad.

    Not having an opinion and calling a player wa.nk are very different. I do remember Glavin and while I could accept somebody saying they had no opinion on him I would argue with somebody who said he was dogsh.it because they would be wrong.
    Being too young to have seen a class player play live is not an excuse to call them sh.it.

    To be honest I don't know. I don't really argue or get abusive with him like some on here do. I try to give him another opinion but I know on some subjects he has a very narrow view of things. I do like a lot of what he says but sometimes I think he courts controversy and enjoys the conflict. Having said that the BBS would not be as entertaining without him.
