A few clubs after Butters (with all accounts)......so the race is on to sign the best talent Barnsley has produced in a while
But will we get the right price for him ???

There's talk about a fee of £2.2 million...............thats the same fee the Blunts got for Tonge.......and we have seen how good Tonge is compared to Butters.

It seems the same old same old story at TARN........'we have got to let him go cheap because his contract has run out'.

Do you know anything? We don't control the fee, there isn't one. He's a free agent with Barnsley receiving compensation because he's under a certain age.

................'he's a free agent'................int that more or less what I've just said...........

The thing is.................why is he a free agent?.........

.........OR....................why has he been allowed to be a free agent?

.........OR....................why does a manager give a 20 year old talented player the captaincy of the club - but misses the chance at that time of not providing a better and longer contract for that player?

.........OR.............in other words...........why didn't the club offer Butters the money last year at this time because obviuosly Keeeflicker knew he had a big talent on his hands - hence the captaincy

Like I said....same old story.......suddenly find they have a big talent on their hands only to find that his contract expires in a fot nit
