Topcashback again - £101 back on 24-month contracts of £26/month or more with T-Mobile

    Re: Android on the cheap

Little addendum if anyone's fancying this - there's a better discount code for Very than the one on Topcashback. You still have to open a credit account (3 payments a month apart, interest free) but entering code 23EPW at checkout takes off £30 instead of 10% so handset goes down to £70 (or £64 after cashback if you still purchase via topcashback). Takes total cost of ownership on 3 to £136 for 12 months

really? £22.99 a month for unlimited text and internet and just 50 minutes?

I pay £10 a month for unlimited text, 500mb of internet and 400 minutes on contract.

I've previously paid £22.50 a month (still less than you) for 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet with a top of the range smart phone thrown in.

no its £15 a month because the £7,99 comes out of the £15 you put on each month, then the other £7.01p you spend, when the 50 minutes run out but i hardly ever use the 50 minutes so it stays on mi phone and keeps adding up

Can't fault that logic. I made sure I had enough set aside to pay mine for 12 months until the contract ran out and now I can just cancel anytime I want giving one months notice so that works ok for me too.

From what you've put, NIGHTMARE, if your phone is unlocked or on O2, and O2 reception is OK round your way, GiffGaff might be worth a look for you. It's plain PAYG with no obligation to top up each month but you can buy a £10 "goody bag" at any time. These last 30 days and give you 250 mins with unlimited text and internet. When the 30 days are up you either buy another goodybag or it just reverts to PAYG. Click link in my sig if you want to look into it
