If he's found guilty in court, will he then be charged by the FA/PL? I know the FA/PL can't take action until after the court case is done, but my question is will they? And will it follow the precedent? Suarez got 8 games, yet Terry's looking at £2,500 fine from the court at worst.
He called Evra a derivative of the 'N' word 22 times with the reasoning that he uses the term all the time, so thats ok.
Cultural differences. I don't like Liverpool and I don't like Suarez but I got the feeling there was a degree of 'scapegoating' over the whole incident.
Technically, couldn't Terry be facing a ban from grounds for a period of time. The same as if a member of the crowd did the same...
Scapegoating? Ah, the Liverpool persecution complex. Its never your fault, its never your fault, always the victim, its never your fault.
Er I don't think so, read my post again in fact read any of my posts about Liverpool. I can't stand them. So its nothing to do with any Liverpool persecution complex.
My defence would simply be 'Evra you hypocritical little ****er, you are on video calling somebody a 'mother ******* ******' so you have NO right to complain that somebody has called it you.
What I find strange is the lad in Wales who tweeted something racist about Muamba got jail time. If Terry said what is alleged, then surely that equates to a stupid tweet. The lad apologised straight away and deleted it. Still jailed. Unless I'm missing something a jail sentence and £2500 fine are worlds apart for a similar 'crime'. Although I don't particularly like the guy, Terry's version of events does appear logical to me. Don't understand how after playing alongside black players for ten years he'd suddenly blurt the alleged phrase out.
