Did you bother to read the article or not? I bet you didnt bother and just ignored it., because if you had read it , you could not even believe the things you have just posted! You are getting dafter and dafter everytime you post your stupid ignorant claims that the Premiership is the best and all the players want to play there becaause of that, Nothing at all to do with the fact that they get paid more in the Prem than anywhere else , of course some players in Spain are paid more, thats because they are better players.
St Pauli are an interesting club, very strong left wing and anarchist fan base. German football is miles in front of English football in so many ways. We sold our footballing heritage, which was at the heart of our game. Shame, shame, shame.
Can I ask a question?..... Does this article imply that Sky have less influence over German football finances than they do in the UK? As far as I am concerned I don't see how the German system could override the influence that they have on the game here. personally I see Sky as the devil's spawn and would rather eat my own liver than subscribe. We complain about BBC licence fee but around £12pm compared to Sky at around £60 with repeats and zillions of adverts it doesnt seem such a bad deal. If BBC charged a similar fee (or better still, a cap was put on Sky/Virgin etc. to level the playing field would that help the situation?
Re: Can I ask a question?..... Sky don't pay players wages. Sky doesnt choose what Manchester united or anyone else does with the money that it gives. That money could if the clubs chose to, be used to develop grass roots football, improve facilities for supporters or indeed subsidise ticket prices. The simple fact is that idiotic, greedy, selfish chairmen and own owners who live in ivory towers so out of touch with the average man and woman that it is unreal have chosen to give that money to players instead. That is the fault of nobody but the idiots running our game and clubs.
