    The people stabbing each other in South London are in the main black teenagers, some born in London, some born in Africa.

    The majority of black people in Barnsley were born in Africa as according to the 1991 census Barnsley was 99% white.

    Anyone who doesn't think that we will have similar gangs in 20 years is living in cloud cuckoo land, it's already happened in many formally-white working class towns and cities across the country and it will happen here too, some of those cute little black boys in primary schools across Barnsley will grow up to become gangstas.

    There are no white street gangs in London anyway, the closest thing would be football hooligans, the Lawrence case was the only one in 20 years, there are black gang stabbings every week.

    I'll be honest here, the only thing that makes Barnsley better than other towns in South Yorkshire is the lack of minorities, no Asian grooming gangs like Rotherham or Somali drugs gangs like Sheffield, once that's gone what's Barnsley got?

    Nothing, it'll be a northern Luton.

    Loaded stat but Afro-Caribbeans account for about 10% of the population of London but 59% of violent crime.

    Not sure how that is relevant to my post? Unless it was a stat saying the percentage of white british people invovled in knife crime or gangs is 0%.

    Crime is disproportionately commited by people who live in low socio-economic groups. Ethnic minorities in London are twice as likely as white british people to live in poverty.

    Jesus. I don't know which of you're vast sweeping generalisations to pick holes in first so maybe I won't bother. I will just take the gist of your point to be you don't mind gangs, predatory paedohiles, or drug dealers os long as they are white and from Barnsley

    So you wouldn't accept that gang/knife culture is predominantly a problem amongst the Afro-Caribbean community?? I accept the correlation between poverty and crime to some degree but there is far more to it than that.
