Top class. He asked the club if he could come in for the interview and say farewell. Speaks with such warmth for Barnsley FC and says he'll miss the place. Brilliant stuff. Good luck at Norwich City, Jacob.
Good riddance, see you in the Championship in a years time if your not on the medical table (fingers crossed he is!)
well done he said it for a response and you've gave him one, could you not just read it and forget it, instead of replying he'll do it all the more now he's got a audience, pound to a penny he'll be back to tell you exactly what he thinks of him "again" where as if you left it he'd have no reason to repeat his opinion
I expect two things when a player or manager leaves Barnsley: 1) We get the proper compensation (which often dosent happen). 2) That the person leaving thanks Barnsley Football Club and its supporters (which often dosent happen e.g. Brian Howard). As far as Butters goes.........pity we didn't get the right compensation. I dont know how much Butters was responsible for that by not signing another contract. And although I haven't seen the Barnsley World video; thank you for your compliments.
Just watched the 15 minute interview on player. A touch of class off the field as well as on it. I can't think of too many players who would come back and thank a club and officially say goodbye. Good luck to you Jacob.
Good luck Jacob, I for one hope you turn into the superstar your potential deserves. Could be first player who started at Barnsley to play for England since.....David Hirst????
