We are desperate for a tall, strong and loud centre half.............but we are equally desperate for some one that can do the following from either the right wing or the left wing.......see link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bABYmY4Yag8
great talent and i think hill could restore his form but could we afford him or pay him as much as he'd want and would he want to come back?
Brilliant clip, well put together. I'd carry him back to Oakwell but l think he's now out of our price range.
Definitely worth putting in a bid Folk are saying he'd now be out of our price range, but he's hardly played for Wolves and got farmed out on loan last season. I reckon they might let him go for not much more than what they paid for him, especially if Jarvis stays. His career needs resurrecting for a second time and ar Keef is just the man to do it!
Re: I'll go and fetch him myself Butterfield, Howard and Vaz Te were all good.....................but Adam Hammill was better Why why why do we keep getting just one outstanding player at one time Is there ever going to be a period when a bunch of these player are maintained and kept in the same side For example.........what sort of team would we have now if the players above were still in the team???
Re: I'll go and fetch him myself A combination of many factors but imho the biggest reason is short termism from the board room - scared of the balance sheet hence short term contracts.
Re: I'll go and fetch him myself Steele next ont conveyor belt along with 1990`s Tina Tyke cuddly toy.
Not a fan of bringing former players back as it almost never works 2nd time around, but I would walk down to Wolverhampton to bring Hammill back, hard working, exceptional talent, scores goals, was a little greedy at times, but that's purely because he was brimming with confidence once he got in amongst the goals. Think we'd be able to bring him back on loan at least. Hasn't done time so probably doesn't fit the DNA, but he's scouse so he's probably nicked a few hub caps in his time. Gerrim signed Keith.
And in the weeks preceding his departure According to some, he'll go from being a very capable goalkeeper to performing like a non-league player, who was never really all that good and they never rated him anyway.
Remember fowk saying he was ball greedy and didn't work hard enough. Just like Butterfield And Vaz Te Reight laiker. Was always going to be a proper player from Davey signing him.
Re: And in the weeks preceding his departure It's a wonder we've got this far with the ***** we sign.....
Re: Yet again KK has said he wants a 'left' footed winger. I don't think Hammill fits that bill, or the wage bill, and he'd more than likely consider us a backwards step in his career, perhaps even an admittance that he failed. Plus, I'd imagine there are at least 20 sides in our division who would be more likely a destination for him, should he be deemed available for transfer by the new Wolves gaffer. If I was in charge at Molineux, I'd be looking at giving the lad games this season - he's a proven performer at this level and is still relatively young. But then, they've just recruited Frank Nouble. So talent-spotting doesn't seem to be a strong point for the new regime at Wolverhampton.
