As you are aware the big thing at the moment is to put a claim in for mis-sold PPI.

well once all of this has settled down the next "crazy" will be claiming for mis-sold Mortgages .

just thought i would share that with you

    Cheers

Does anyone else got calls from an "International" number about this at all hours? Half past f*cking two this morning had a recorded call on the ****-eyed landline and rushed out of bed thinking someone had died. Absolute barstards.

Use the method I saw on Seinfeld the other night.

Ask them if you can take their number and call them back, when they say they can't do that say "Is it because you don't want people phoning you up out of the blue" and when they say yes, reply "well now you know how I feel" and hang up!

Yes there was mis-selling of PPI, but when I bought some I don't believe I was mis-sold it, I knew what it was, the problem is that people are just claiming to make money even though many were not mis-sold. Because it costs the companies so much to challenge many have set aside money to just settle claims and I saw an estimate that at least 50% of the claims are bogus. All it will do is lead to higher insurance premiums for all.....when I get someone in town asking me I just say I'm not interested.

I get calls telling me that I had an accident at work in 2001 that I still haven't made a claim for, then when I tell them I was 12 in 2001, they tell me they're going to delete me from their records, only for me to get another call a couple of weeks after, annoying feckers.

Do what i do and ask them how they got the number because i work for the police force and by ringing me unannounced is a breach of security. Or summat like that.

Or my other tip is if the caller asks for the home owner just tell them you will get them, leave the phone off the hook go make a cup of tea then go watch a bit of telly, they'll soon get the message.

You've definately got a claim then if you had an accident whilst working when you were 12! Did they send you up chimneys?

The utilities companies pestering us saying that they can get us a better deal on gas or electricity has screwed things up..

If no body makes a claim the banks will win again..they are currently p*****g themselves at the moment because millions will not be claimed...I can only tell you I am glad that I made a claim... no brainer for me no risk on my part get £2500...happy days..

In your opinion was you genuinely mis-sold and had no idea what you was signing up for? Or have you claimed just because you could?
