The government have made cuts to public services, in order to reduce the deficit, but now they are going to use the money they've saved with cuts to police, health service, education etc on funding private industry projects! Just f-ing great!

The project is not about public spending cuts it is about privatising teh state so that government is a facilitator of contracts into provate hands. Or let's just cut the crap and say the government collects tax to re-distribute upwards.

get people working and costing the state FA is a good thing. they are unwritting the investment,
. its a basic economic principle,

once the companies that they are unwriting start to florish then the will employ more and more

you know like when the communists that we had previously created more and more red tape that created more and more bureaucrats , its just the same as that only this is self funding

did you enjoy have you pocket pick under blair and brown

re,e,ber when you are working till you are 70 who caused that

That article uses a phrasre that I'm sick of hearing; "good value for money for taxpayers".

Think that can basically be translated as the rich will profit from it via their private interests while those who don't pay as much tax get F. all out of it.

Our public services are slowly being turned into commodities.

That is Tory belief, not real world thoughj is it?
They do not Flourish and employ more, they just take the money and fook off overseas to make whatever it is they have got the money from this Government for.
    THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS.
That is how the Tories have worked it for the years they were in power and that is why we will have to work longer and longer to cover up the mess that was started in 1979 and has continued ever bloody since, not just Labours fault, but the fault of all the Governments.
We have no Power Industry under British ownership, no steel industry under British ownership etc etc etc. All sold off to by the Tories to the best mates , who then sold it off at the correct price to the overseas buyers having bought it for a knockdown price!

But yes of course its the fault of the last Labour Government we have nothing left!!!!

Stimulus to the economy? Where? They are moving publoic money to private hands. End of. Stimulating the economy is NOT achieved by privatisation! It is achieved by public works i.e. infrastructure projects.

You leftists are so far up your own arses you can't see the full picture.

    a) The country doesn't make more money by employing public servants

    b) No Labour/Socialist Government in the UK has left office in a better position than what it inherited.

    c) The worst enemy of the working people is/and has been the Labour Party. But most are too thick to see it.

    d) The Public Service does not generate wealth, and therefore the private sector has to create it for the benefit of the country.

    e) Nationalised industries did not work. Their Managers might have had lower salaries than in the Private Sector, but the Union influence scuppered them with strikes, works to rule etc. Their leaders However, as now live in very nice houses, and have never suffered hardships that they inflicted on their electors.

    f) And that is just a start.

    It's not a Tory or Labour belief, it's a neo-liberal belief.

Yeah, because clearly if you don't like being shafted by modern capitalism then you must want to go back to the 1970's. I mean what alternative is there?!
