    ..........then thats shocking news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Butters is only half as good as Howson then

And only a third as valuable as Lowton from the Blunts

This just shows what fools they are making of themselves in the board room at Barnsley Football Club !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stack um high and sell um cheap...... Barnsley Football Club the aquivalent of Aldi

Its about time Pat Cryne and The Don sat down and discusssed a way forward with regard to players contracts.......because this scenerio is being played out year after year after year after year

AND ITS FRUSTRATING, ANNOYING AND UNDERMINING THE CONFIDENCE OF THE FANS

Other fans from surrounding clubs will be laughing their socks off at this news
Same old little old Barnsley............think small and will always be small..........thats Dave Bassetts view of Barnsley Football Club, and this sort of thing proves that he was right

    Disgusted

Couldn't you have just replied to the other Butters thread from a hour ago?

"thereev" will be in meltdown if he sees these Butterfield threads.

I agree with all your above by the way.

No Gordon.........I decided not to reply to one of the previous threads

I started the post at the end of one of the others but after reading all the rubbish with regard to the misguided view that £1.3 million was a decent price then I thought the best way here is to start a new thread with a totally different view point

    Just to add another comment............

Its not as though Barnsley Football Club is awash with money
If we would have got the real value, say about £3 Million, from the Butterfield sale then this would have gone some way in providing a platform for building a team for the future

£1 million.............is nothing in todays Championship League

Rowing & Taylor should be held accountable for the shortfall

Say, a million quid and they should be made to generate that in other business activities.

It's all well and good Taylor puffing himself up and bigging Rowing up as per his interview last year - let's see some actual proper work from them both.

A trained monkey could have got a million quid for Butterfield.

    joke club off the field.

    Different playing positions I know....................BUT

How much better is Butterfield than Rhodes ???

And Huddersfield turned down £5 million for Rhodes

AND THATS THE DIFFERENCE IN A SUCCESFUL BOARD ROOM............ AND AN UNSUCCESFUL BOARD ROOM

So you think that one of the best young midfield talents (keiths and newspaper view of him) in the Championship who is knocking on the door of an under 21 place. The captain of the club. A player that has made other more experienced players in the Championship look like they are nailed to the pitch...........

........................and this player is only worth a third of what the Blunts player Lowton is valued at

That makes no sense to me what so ever

Rhodes signed a five year contract last year so has four years still left. Buttercup was out of contract so there lies the difference. Also they have a player with a promotion behind him and international experience who's scored nearly 90 goals in three years. We had a guy who had been injured all year.

    FFS..........!!!

I cannot beleive that I have posted these threads and then a few on here start telling me its because Butters was OUT OF CONTRACT

WHAT THE FOOK DO YOU THINK ALL THESE POSTS ARE ABOUT FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll spell it out a bit slower.......
    ............lack...of....contract....results....in.....players......being.......sold.......for.......next.......to.........NOWT

Also see..........Howard, Bogger, Shackell, Hammill, Vaz Te

That is to say; the directors of the club are watching players drift in and then drift out of the first team and because of this we are not building a foundation or a base to improve the status of Barnsley Football Club
