seen that on SSN that both manchester clubs had bids rejected, if he had sense he would go to united but i reckon he will go to city for the ££££££££££££
Why should he go to Utd? If he has any sense and he wants to win things the City is the place to go!! Me I would sign for Barnsley!!
Buuger I mis-read the amount Arsenal want!! I thought it said £25, thought we might have been able to scrounge that much together!
man utd - need him more, he'll have more important role within the club city - squad player, could struggle to get in team/ fit into there style
Me too, but he said he wants to win things, only one place to go if thats what he wants, City! No matter what you think about how they have bought players, they will carry on and carry on winning things, Champions league next.
I think he'd be better at united - seem to be like wounded animals when they lose the title. Think they would have won title if vidic had been fit!
Feel sorry for Arsene Wenger, yet again a player who has been made into a world class player ditches him for the pound signs. If Van Persie had played better in 2008 they would have won the title!
So RVP should continue to stay at a club that cannot win anything when there are an host of clubs wanting him that have won trophies recently?
In my opinion yes, Arsenal have offered him a great deal to stay but he would rather have a trophy with a club he has no pride about. Whatever happened to loyalty, i admired Steven Gerrard when he turned down Chelsea and guarenteed trophies to stay at the club that matters to him.
It seems to me that Man Utd fans forget that they themselves have done just the same as City are doing, but because they lost out to City it is a nasty thing to do!!!
RVP has shown lots of loyalty by staying at a trophyless team for many years despite his massive talent. Should he just become another Shearer or Le Tiss and stay at a club you aren't likely to ever win anything at? At the end of his career he wants to look back on all the honours he's picked up. If he stays at Arsenal he's not likely to win much.
Arsenal wouldnt have been trophyless had RVP banged the goals in like he did last season, in 8 seasons at Arsenal he has had 1 standout season
Not the same at all in my opinion only time will tell if the Man City buying success adds competition in the Premier league or ruins clubs trying to keep up with their spend power!
