    but unfortunately it does matter to many.

    this is a local derby be it friendly or otherwise.To many thats all that will matter. Had we taken on friendlies with, for instance Walsall,Brentford,Luton and Oxford, then they would have not mattered and just the performance and training values would have.But sadly as I say this will be percieved as a S.Yorks derby by many.

    I accept I'm in the wrong, mate

    We've lost a pre season friendly 2-1 against local 2nd Division opposition and it doesn't bother me one bit. Others will be screaming for the manager's head, predicting doom, gloom, despondency & that the Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse will be galloping down Grove Street shortly!:D So be it. I know bugger all about football, especially in comparison to the experts.
