    How can I answer that without knowing what our budget is and which players are surplus to requirements?? For starters I wouldn't have minded that Greer.

    What's happened to the £400k we offered for Norwood which we did before knowing the Butterfield fee? I'd like to see us bring in a couple of quality Championship players with that money but I can't see it.

    Dunno but it's worrying that the manager openly said he wanted to bring in championship experience players and he's struggling to do so even though we won't have spent much this summer, have 400k from wanting Norwood still around and now over a million from Buttercup.

    Championship experience is massively important in some positions I agree, especially at the back or in the middle of the park. However, positions like out wide or up front you can potentially get away with a bit of a gamble on someone younger and more inexperienced that can play without fear. Adam Hammill being a prime example. We still need a centre half though. Would have been nice for us to push the boat out and sign a Fitz Hall or someone along those lines.
